Inter continued their Serie A title push with a 3-0 win at Lazio. Lautaro Martinez sinks empty Olimpico, Marcus Thuram and Petar Sucic scored at the Stadio Olimpico, and Alessio Romagnoli was sent off. Juventus also strengthened their position with a 1-0 win at Lecce, sealed by Dusan Vlahovic after 12 seconds. It was the fastest goal in Juventus’ Serie A history and the third-fastest in the league over the last two decades. Juventus also had two goals disallowed.

The race for Europe also shifted at Verona, where Como won 1-0 and mathematically secured a place in Europe for 2026-27. In another Serie A result, Udinese beat Cagliari 2-0 through goals from Adam Buksa and Idrissa Gueye.

That match in Sardinia was overshadowed by an alleged racist incident. Udinese striker Keinan Davis accused Cagliari defender Alberto Dossena of calling him a monkey. Udinese condemned racist abuse from a Cagliari player. Dossena denied the allegation and called it disgraceful. Cagliari said there was no objective evidence or substantiation.

In the Premier League, Manchester City kept their title hopes alive with a 3-0 home win over Brentford as Jeremy Doku scored again. Liverpool drew 1-1 with Chelsea at Anfield. Ryan Gravenberch scored for Liverpool before Wesley Fofana equalized with a touch from Enzo Fernandez’s free-kick. Manchester United were held 0-0 by Sunderland, and Bournemouth moved closer to European qualification with a 1-0 win at Fulham. In Scotland, Celtic and Rangers met in the Scottish Premiership as live coverage continued.
