Juventus tightened the Serie A race for the top four with a 1-0 win at Lecce, settled by Dusan Vlahovic after 12 seconds. The goal was the fastest in Juventus Serie A history and the third-fastest in the league over the last two decades. Juventus also had two more goals ruled out. Vlahovic and Lloyd Kelly said Juventus have their fate in their own hands after the win.
Inter kept winning with a 3-0 victory at Lazio. Lautaro Martinez, Petar Sucic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan scored, and Alessio Romagnoli was sent off. Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri criticized his side’s attitude after the defeat.
At the other end of the table, Fiorentina secured Serie A survival with a 0-0 draw against Genoa, and both teams moved beyond reach of the relegation zone with two rounds left. Fiorentina were jeered by their own supporters after the match. Cremonese kept their safety hopes alive with a 3-0 win over Pisa. Jamie Vardy scored his first goal since January, and Pisa finished with nine men. Verona and Pisa are already down, leaving Lecce and Cremonese battling to avoid the final relegation spot. Como also made history, with a 1-0 win at Verona securing the club’s first-ever European qualification for 2026-27. Cesc Fabregas said he was very happy and proud after the result.
In Scotland, Hearts and Celtic are guaranteed Champions League qualifiers next season after Celtic’s win over Rangers secured a top-two Scottish Premiership finish for both clubs.
