Nottingham Forest manager Oliver Glasner says his side "lost two points" following their goalless draw against Tottenham Hotspur. The Austrian insists and says Neco Williams' second-half disallowed goal should have stood.

Manchester City’s Champions League campaign suffered another setback with a 4-2 home defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, the clearest blow in a digest dominated by injury concerns and uneasy post-match assessments across Europe.

Roma’s problems look more immediate after their 4-3 Champions League defeat to Real Madrid. Gian Piero Gasperini said Manu Koné has a first-degree muscle injury and hopes the midfielder will be back before the next international break. Paulo Dybala is another concern, with Roma still waiting on medical tests. Gasperini described the three goals his side conceded in seven minutes against Madrid as an anomaly, but his broader point was clear: Roma need greater depth.

Inter have fresh fitness trouble of their own. Benjamin Pavard has joined an injury list that already includes Lautaro Martinez, John Stones and Jones. Coach Cristian Chivu did, however, offer some encouragement by confirming Lautaro’s return timeline after the loss to Club Brugge. Napoli’s picture is brighter ahead of the trip to Venezia, with Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Alisson Santos both back in Massimiliano Allegri’s 22-man traveling squad.

In England, Michael Carrick moved to calm the mood at Manchester United, insisting the dressing room is not divided and that the issue around Lisandro Martinez’s criticism of the club hierarchy is over. Carrick said the squad is moving on, added that Martinez is in line to face Leeds United, and maintained United are in a good place. Leeds, for their part, have reached an agreement in principle on a new contract for manager Daniel Farke.
