رضا دهقان در گفتوگو با خبرنگار ورزشی خبرگزاری تسنیم، در مورد شرایط مبهمی که برای برگزاری لیگ برتر به وجود آمده است، عنوان کرد: بعید میدانم لیگ برگزار شود. حتی اگر قرار باشد بازیها هر سه روز یک بار انجام شود باز هم با کمبود زمان مواجه میشویم و در این میان جام حذفی را هم باید در نظر گرفت. از طرفی باید شرایط تیم ملی برای جام جهانی را هم در نظر گرفت و این موضوع هم باید در اولویت قرار بگیرد.
وی افزود: شاید فدراسیون قصد دارد مسابقات را بعد از جام جهانی برگزار کند که این موضوع هم چالشهای خودش را دارد و زمان استراحت تیمها، شروع تمرینات برای فصل بعد و برخی موارد دیگر را با مشکل مواجه میکند. شاید هم لیگ نیمه کاره بماند ولی من دوست دارم بازیها برگزار شود تا تکلیف تیمها مشخص شود.
