به گزارش خبرگزاری تسنیم، آرنه اشلوت که فصل گذشته در اولین فصل حضورش در لیورپول موفق شد سرخپوشان مرسیساید را به قهرمانی در لیگ برتر انگلیس برساند، این فصل با وجود بودجه ۴۸۳ میلیون یورویی که در تابستان اخیر صرف خرید بازیکنان مدنظرش کرد، نتوانسته است موفقیت فصل گذشته را تکرار کند و شاگردانش نهتنها شانسی برای دفاع از عنوان قهرمانیشان ندارند، بلکه برای کسب سهمیه لیگ قهرمانان هم رقابت سختی با تیمهای منچستریونایتد استونویلا و چلسی دارند.
همین روند پر فراز و نشیب لیورپول در فصل جاری سبب شده است تا شایعه احتمال اخراج آرنه اشلوت از سمت سرمربیگری این تیم لیگ برتری در پایان فصل همچنان مطرح باشد. رسانه انگلیسی «تاچ لاین» در این مورد نوشت: اگر اشلوت نتواند فصل را با لیورپول در جمع چهار تیم برتر لیگ برتر به پایان برساند، از سمت سرمربیگری این تیم اخراج خواهد شد. مدیران باشگاه لیورپول معتقدند که بازی نکردن در لیگ قهرمانان اروپا با توجه به هزینههای سنگینی که این مربی هلندی بابت جذب بازیکنان جدید روی دستشان گذاشته، غیرقابل قبول است.
اخیراً رسانههای انگلیسی گزارش داده بودند که مدیران باشگاه لیورپول ملاقاتی پنهانی در اسپانیا با مدیر برنامههای ژابی آلونسو داشتهاند و در نشستی، جزئیات بیشتری از تاکتیکهای این مربی اسپانیایی و اهداف نقلوانتقالات تابستانی مدنظر او را مورد بحث قرار دادهاند.

Manchester United will be without Harry Maguire for Saturday’s trip to Chelsea after he received an additional one-match ban. The ban was issued after he was sent off and was linked to swearing at an official. United are already without Lisandro Martinez and Matthijs de Ligt.
