وی درخصوص حضور رسول خطیبی در آلومینیوم و اینکه برخی معتقدند مدیران باشگاه بعد از اتفاقات فصل گذشته نباید این مربی را انتخاب میکردند تاکید کرد: این مسائل به باشگاه و رسول خطیبی مربوط میشود و من نمیتوانم در موردش صحبت کنم. خطیبی مربی خوبی است و یکی از دلالی که باعث شد که در آلومینیوم بمانم بازگشت ایشان بود.
احمدی تصریح کرد: آلومینیوم فصل گذشته عملکرد خوبی داشت و نتایج قابل قبولی گرفتیم. من مطمئن هستم که خطیبی برای فصل آینده تیمی نترس و پرقدرتی را میبندد و ما امیدواریم که نتایج بهتری را نسبت به فصل گذشته بگیریم.
